Ny Expedition På Gång. Eventuellt./New Expedition Coming Up. Possibly.

English version:

I have to sat that this time is one of the hardest I have handled in life. Very hard. There´s a lot of things going on right now that will change a lot of my family´s future and at times I don´t know how to deal with it all. So, I just have to do what I always done in my grown up life when things doesn´t add up, I start planning for a solo Expedition to give me a needed perspective.

Over the last wto weeks I have ordered food for a month, a new pulk from Fjellpulken, updated my ancient technique how to communicate and be safe and I hope I can set off quite soon on a months long journey heading up north from back home in Greenland before the snow disappears. Which it just might do on route before I reach my goal!

I need to do this journey to be able to get a bigger perspective on Greenalnd and our time here. Our time has been extremely difficult, mainly due to internal problems such as Eva´s eyes. They´re are luckily beginning to develop positively, but there were some serious mistakes done by our local health care and I hope that will not be a decider for what happens to her eyes. Having said that, we are doing well in Copenhagen, but would prefer to be back home in Greenland. Hopefully, we will know more at the ned of the week. How long we need to stay, if and when we can return and such issues.

The girls, as always, are dealing with the situation much better than me. They even back my Expedition fully and are eager to be part of the planning, even though i cannot be sure it will happen. Eva, she said today, she will continue my work in the future. If it hadn´t been for her eyes, I would have brought her. A true joy that would have been.

This Expedition is not only for my own perspective and need to figure life out, but also to give me a bigger overview of the climate change developments in this part od the world. See them with my own eyes in this time.

If the Expedition will happen!
