I have three little kids (ages 6, 4, and 2) and, coupled with a love story of my own, they have enriched my life more than any cross-continental trek. The best part is, they haven't slowed us down a bit--we are moving to India and Pakistan next year to begin our next adventure. It was refreshing, in this anti-family, anti-kid world we suddenly live in, to hear the world's greatest explorer extoll the truly fulfilling adventure that IS being a father.
