Knife Collection at Boldr

I am very happy to announce that my great friends at Boldr have honored me with a knife collection. With my name on the blade. Amazing!

I have worked with them for years now on Expedition style watches and knives. They are extremely detailed, responsive, intelligent and they have a huge drive. Plus they are great human beings!

Here is an interview they did https://www.boldrsupply.co/blogs/b-roll/exploring-the-human-spirit-a-boldr-journey-with-mikael-strandberg

But here is the press release!

SINGAPORE: BOLDR watches are frequently associated with many everyday-carry gear (EDC) enthusiasts as part of their must-have adventure essentials, particularly the Venture & Expedition field watches. The brand is now releasing its very own collection of hand-finished folding knives inspired by documentary filmmaker & adventurer Mikael Strandberg. The Swedish-born polymath has been BOLDR’s brand ambassador since 2018.

BOLDR chose top quality Bohler M390 steel for all their knife blades in the collection. Renowned for its superior quality, M390 steel has excellent sharpness retention, outstanding wear and tear resistance, and remains stainless almost indefinitely.

The Strandberg knives use both liner-lock (wooden handles) and a slip-joint w/ half stop lock (titanium & micarta handles). Each Strandberg knife has seen real-time action on Mikael’s many excursions, often in extreme climates. .

“The blades are durable, compact, sturdy and have pleasantly comfortable grips. Looking forward to really breaking them in over the years to come! Just like their watches, I’m proud that BOLDR is keeping in line with their adventure-ready ethos”, commented Mikael from his home in Malmo, Sweden.

The Strandberg Knives are available in 5 different handle materials: Dalbergia wood, snake wood, olive wood, titanium, and micarta. All blades are Bohler M390 steel with either a steel liner-lock or a slip joint w/ half stop locking system. .
