The Platinum Card and the Missing Glacier

On Christmas Eve I sat on my balcony in Malmö in my long johns. Seven degrees. A few years ago that would have been unthinkable. A week earlier I was in Ecuador, looking up at Cayambe and seeing the glacier line pulled back into the mountain.

This is a personal story about denial, post-expedition blues, and the moment I stopped calling climate change abstract.
