Throughout the years of doing book reviews, I have read many books by adventurers. Most of them from one of the Anglo-Saxon countries. And I have to admit, many of them make me loose my concentration after awhile. They´re either to chatty, oberbearing or overdramatized. James Ketchell´s first book is none of it!
The book chronicles James three grand journeys. Rowing across the Atlantic, climbing Everest and cycling around the world. It is a funny, frank, down-to-earth read, where it is hard to stop turning pages.
I would especially recommend the book for every beginning adventurer. James a fighter and he never gives up. Neither on finding sponsors or reaching his goal.
Read it!
