Colombia, A Country That Won’t Let You Breathe is the next chapter in my 1986 to 87 bicycle journey from Chile to Alaska. It moves from the sanctuary at Las Lajas through Popayán and Puracé to San Agustín, then into Bogotá, where corruption is blunt and the air itself feels hostile. The chapter ends on the edge of Urabá, with El Darién waiting ahead like a wall of green.
