Arnon Singers assessment of the sailing journey

From Arnon and his assessment of the trip:
dear Michael,
I read your travel journal and was deeply moved—both by your warm words and by your candid sharing of your feelings and experiences.
Just as I introduced myself during our initial conversation as an experienced sailor who is still a perpetual student, that is also how I would sum up this journey.
As fate would have it, we met at a moment when help was needed. I had the advantage of being no stranger to instruction; my desire to introduce as many people as possible to the world of sailing allows me to meet individuals exactly where they are in terms of skill level.
You have a remarkable ability to grasp and understand things quickly. It was easy for me to leave the helm in your hands because I saw how serious you were, perfectly applying every explanation and demonstration. I was also impressed by how positively you always responded whenever I needed to offer a correction or comment. Your daughters found a place in my heart almost immediately… It took us a little time to overcome the language barrier, given that my English isn’t quite at a native-speaker level…
At a certain point, they felt free and at ease with me.
We prepared meals together, and it was wonderful to see how it whetted their appetites.
The evening we watched the movie *Moana*—who is also a girl of the sea—was fantastic. We even celebrated Iva’s 16th birthday.
during our shared travels across the unique islands we visited. I cherish all these moments in my heart. Thank you for letting me be a part of your family, even if only for a short while.
who knows what the future holds? I hope we find ourselves at the helm of a boat once more, embarking on another fascinating journey into the unknown.
